Job summary

Patriot Rail Company in Fort Smith, AR seeks a skilled track maintenance worker to inspect, repair, and install track components and related railroad assets. You will participate in safety meetings, maintain MO&W documentation, and ensure compliance with FRA rules.

CDL preferred and prior rail maintenance experience is highly valued. This physically demanding role requires lifting, manual dexterity, and the ability to operate or assist with heavy equipment on right-of-way.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 18 years old with a valid driver's license.
• Experience in railroad maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair and/or install track components such as rail, ties, ballast.
• Inspect, repair and/or install track switches and related infrastructure.
• Maintain compliance with railroad safety rules and FRA regulations.
• Operate equipment to inspect and improve track structure.
• Participate in safety meetings and document maintenance records.
