Energy Transfer is seeking a Rail Operations Technician to safely operate and maintain rail equipment, track, and switches, ensuring safe transfer of crude oil and petroleum products in compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities include performing inspections, coordinating with other departments, maintaining facility grounds, and adhering to safety policies. The role requires a high school diploma, a valid license, and good math/PC skills; heavy lifting may be involved.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current/valid driver's license.
• Communicate (written and verbal) in the English language.
• Basic math and PC skills.
• Knowledge of CFR-DOT regulations pertaining to shipment of hazardous materials.
• Knowledge of transloading, rail terminal, railcar mover / locomotives.
• Knowledge of AAR and FRA standards, policies, and regulations.

Aufgaben

• Operate rail equipment and maintain track switches safely and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform pre/post-loading inspections of railcars and equipment.
• Document railcar information accurately in flow computer system.
• Coordinate with other departments to maintain safe product flow.
• Maintain facility buildings and surrounding areas in safe condition.
