Rail Management Services is hiring immediately for entry-level positions to unload new automobiles at the Norfolk Southern terminal in Ayer, MA. No experience is required as on-the-job training will be provided. PRS Auto is hiring immediately for individuals to unload (drive) new automobiles off of railcars at the Norfolk Southern (NS) Ayer, MA rail terminal. No experience is required—this entry‑level position offers On the Job Training to teach you everything you need to know.

This is an entry‑level position with an opportunity for growth for individuals interested in a career in the rail industry. We have multiple locations throughout the country and pride ourselves on promoting qualified individuals for future advancement.

Applicants must currently live within a 45‑minute commute of Ayer, MA. Out of area candidates and/or those requiring relocation will not be considered.

You will typically work the first shift, but schedules vary and you must be flexible for start and finish times. You must also be available during weekends and holidays.

Safety is our #1 goal.

Starting rate is $24/hr.

Medical benefits start after 60 days and the first of the month after that. Other benefits start after a 90‑day probationary period.

General Requirements

• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass a 7‑year background check and a drug test.
• Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions, lift up to 50 lbs above your head, and climb various heights (not afraid of heights).
• No GED or high school diploma is required.

You will be employed by PRS Auto and will not be an employee of the railroad.
