Job summary

Alstom in Newark, NJ is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on AirTrain systems, the guideway, and station doors. The role supports the CMS team and operates 24/7 across the Operations and Maintenance function.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic electrical and mechanical skills, and the ability to read schematics. You will document work in Maximo and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles and related equipment for failures.
• Perform electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic inspections per procedures.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance and replace defective parts.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic failures.
• Document maintenance and work orders completed.
• Enter data into the Maximo program.
• Adhere to all safety rules and company policies.
