Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years of field/project engineering experience on transit or rail projects.
• Knowledge of construction project management controls and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in planning, executing, and closing out transit systems projects.
• Coordinate field personnel, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
• Serve as day-to-day contact for Clients, consultants, and project partners.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, correspondence, logs and docs.
• Conduct field walks to monitor progress, quality, safety and contract compliance.
• Identify and resolve field coordination, constructability, and interface issues.
• Assist with schedules, look-ahead plans and progress tracking.
• Monitor costs, labor, material costs, and subcontractor performance.
• Support estimating, change orders, and value engineering opportunities.
• Provide direction to Field Engineers and subcontractors.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and adherence to specs and safety policies.
• Identify risks and assist with mitigation strategies.
