Hitachi Rail in Hawaii is seeking a Building Services Technician to support the Honolulu Rail Project in Pearl City. The role involves maintaining electrical and mechanical systems, performing preventive and corrective work, and ensuring safety compliance on a major transit project.

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical and structural equipment maintenance.
• Ability to use common and specialized tools and test equipment.
• Knowledge of lock-out tag-out safety procedures.
• Ability to read schematics and manuals to maintain equipment.
• CDL is required within 12 months of starting.

Responsibilities

• Perform corrective, preventive and unscheduled maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems.
• Maintain HVAC, plumbing, lighting, cranes and related infrastructure.
• Respond to malfunctions and repair equipment across substations and train stations.
• Keep accurate maintenance records using CMMS and produce reports.
• Oversee building maintenance contracts and service work; manage repair requests.
