Railserve is seeking a Rail Switching Technician in Belle, WV to move, organize and secure railcars as part of a team. This outdoor role requires safety-minded individuals who can operate switches and hand brakes, connect/disconnect cars, and guide locomotives using signals and radios.

We offer paid training, strong leadership support, and long-term opportunities. Candidates should be 18+, able to pass drug tests, and comfortable working in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift, carry, and handle equipment up to ~50 lbs.
• Climb on and off railcars, ladders, and platforms.
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to pass a drug screen, physical, and background check.

• Reliable transportation and good attendance.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Military experience and following detailed procedures is a plus.
