Job summary

Railserve, part of Marmon Holdings, is hiring for a Rail Switching Technician in Belle. This outdoor, hands-on role supports daily rail operations and moves, secures, and coordinates railcars with a team.

Training is provided, and career growth opportunities exist within a safety-focused environment. Schedule features 8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday, 6am–2pm with occasional overtime; compensation ranges from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Lift up to ~50 lbs and handle equipment.
• Climb on/off railcars, ladders and platforms.
• Able to pass a drug screen, physical and background check.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist with moving and securing railcars.
• Operate switches, gates and hand brakes.
• Connect and disconnect railcars.
• Guide locomotives using radio or hand signals.
• Monitor track conditions and identify hazards.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Perform additional duties to support safe rail operations.
