The Anchorage-based Cook, Prep role supports our food and beverage operation. You will prep and cook food for on-board rail cars, adhering to recipes to ensure consistency and portion control. This seasonal full-time position offers a fixed schedule and the opportunity to work with Princess Cruises and Holland America Line.

Qualifications

• Must have Alaska Food Handlers Card or ability to obtain one.
• Able to lift 50 lbs/23 kg repeatedly.
• Works well in a fast-paced kitchen with a team.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of advanced food preparation tasks.
• Routinely prepare, cook and process food for on-board rail cars.
• Follow strict recipe guidelines for consistency, minimal waste, and portion control.
• Log time/temperature checks and sanitation records.
• Monitor inventory, rotate supplies, and maintain stock levels.
• Complete end-of-day procedures and assist with cleaning.
