BNSF Railway seeks Conductor Trainee for the Phoenix area under Primary Recall. This full-time trainee program includes on-the-job and classroom training for up to 19 weeks, with relocation not available and a three-year obligation to return to the hiring location if called back.

The role involves learning train operations, safety protocols, and real-time data coordination while supporting the Transportation Department in ensuring efficient freight movement across the network.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Able to lift and carry up to 80 pounds.
• Able to work the listed shifts and travel requirements.
• Able to work in safety-sensitive environments and varied weather conditions.

Responsabilités

• Communicate information via oral and written channels using various devices.
• Operate track switches and derails to change train routing and ensure alignment.
• Inspect trains and equipment per federal regulations and report conditions.
• Monitor track conditions and report passing train conditions.
• Perform daily work in a safety-sensitive environment under challenging weather.
