Qualifications

Fluent English required for communication and safety.
May require a valid driver’s license and/or TWIC depending on location.
Must be 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
Pass a drug screen and background check; medical exams may apply.
Regular on-site attendance and punctuality required.
Prior military experience is a plus and can aid procedures.

Responsibilities

Review track lists to identify and organize railcars for spotting or movement.
Ensure railcars are connected and secured by setting brakes and verifying couplings.
Separate loaded cars for shipment from preloaded or empty cars.
Weigh inbound and outbound cars to confirm weight limits.
Performs additional duties to support safe and efficient rail operations.
