You will drive safety, service, and productivity while coordinating thousands of rail moves and ensuring real-time visibility of assets. The role requires five+ years in terminal operations with rail/intermodal experience, strong data analytics, and a proven ability to collaborate with unions and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Logistics or related field.
  • Minimum five years of terminal operations experience, rail/intermodal preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Navis N4/XPS and rail planning tools.
  • Experience in a unionized environment is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to analyze data and drive productivity improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily rail operations to meet safety, service, and productivity targets.
  • Coordinate 200,000+ annual rail moves and support 400,000 rail lifts regionally.
  • Manage rail operating budgets through labor planning.
  • Ensure real-time visibility of rail equipment using Navis N4/XPS.
  • Monitor performance with dashboards to identify bottlenecks and improve customer service.
  • Build cross-functional partnerships with internal departments, customers, and labor representatives.
  • Oversee compliance with labor agreements and develop a high-performing team.
