Job summary

PSC Group is hiring a Loader / Rail Switching Technician. The role involves inspecting railcars, connecting loading hoses, weighing cars, and paperwork, as well as planning and executing railcar movements in the plant.

You may operate trackmobiles or locomotives and must communicate with the rail team and customers. Candidates should be 18+, able to pass drug tests and background checks, fluent in English, and willing to work on-site.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
• Speak, write, read fluent English
• May require a valid Driver’s License and/or a valid TWIC card depending on location
• Regular on-site attendance and punctuality required
• Previous military experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Loader: Inspect railcar, connect/disconnect loading hose, check for leaks, weigh cars, complete paperwork
• Rail Switching: Plan railcar spotting, movement, and loading; may operate trackmobile or locomotive
• Communicate with rail team members, leadership, and customer contacts
• Complete any other duties assigned to finish the job
