Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Orange, CA, seeks a Hydrologic and Hydraulic Engineer to lead drainage design, conduct complex analyses, and produce technical reports for rail infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of H&H experience, knowledge of railroad drainage standards, and familiarity with H&H modeling tools. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of H&H experience, at least 7 years in Class I railroads.
• California Engineer-in-Training (EIT) mandatory; California Professional Engineer (P.E.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses using various tools.
• Design stormwater systems and erosion control measures.
• Conduct floodplain assessments and support permit applications.
