Job summary

Loram Maintenance of Way, Inc. is seeking a Rail Equipment Maintenance Operator to train you and operate field-based rail maintenance equipment across sites in the United States.

No rail experience is required as full training is provided, with hands-on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic duties and a focus on safety. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• No rail experience required—we’ll train you.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Proficient in English, verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Loram’s rail maintenance equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform hands-on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic maintenance, including inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Collaborate with teammates to ensure optimal equipment performance and safety compliance.
• Communicate effectively with the team via radio, in person, and in writing.
• Follow FRA, OSHA, and Loram safety protocols at all times.
