Job summary

gpac is seeking a seasoned Terminal Manager for a rail-based facility in the Sandy Springs, GA area. This hands-on leadership role requires overseeing rail and truck movements, safety compliance, and terminal performance.

The ideal candidate has ethanol experience and a track record of managing people in a fast-paced, safety-sensitive environment. You will be responsible for leadership, budgeting, maintenance coordination, and ensuring customers and partners receive reliable service.

Qualifications

• Rail operations experience required.
• Ethanol/bulk terminal exposure preferred.
• Proven leadership in a safety-sensitive environment.
• Strong understanding of DOT/OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily terminal operations involving rail and truck movements.
• Manage safe loading, unloading, transfer, and movement of product.
• Lead, coach, and develop terminal employees.
• Coordinate railcar and truck activity for efficient product flow.
• Manage productivity, costs, maintenance, and performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain relationships with railroad partners, customers, and vendors.
• Monitor inventory, records, and reporting.
• Oversee preventive maintenance and equipment reliability.
• Respond to operational issues and emergencies.
• Identify opportunities to improve safety, efficiency, service, and profitability.
