Loram Maintenance of Way, Inc. is seeking a Rail Equipment Maintenance Operator to join our field operations. No rail experience is required, and we provide full training for mechanically inclined individuals.

This outdoor, physically demanding role involves travel across railways and opportunities for career growth within a supportive team environment. Operate and maintain specialized rail maintenance equipment, perform mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic tasks, and adhere to safety standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• No rail experience needed; training provided.
• Willingness to travel 100% and long hours.
• Proficient in English (verbal and written).

Responsabilités

• Operate and maintain Loram’s rail maintenance equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic maintenance including inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Collaborate with teammates to ensure equipment performance and safety.
• Communicate with the team via radio, in person, and in writing.
• Follow FRA, OSHA, and Loram safety protocols at all times.
• Participate in training to improve skills and career growth.
