Qualifications

• Reads and understands electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
• Knows electrical theory, materials, and equipment.
• Capable of basic mathematical calculations.
• Apprenticeship or technical/vocational degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and enhance electrical systems and components (fuses, lights, wiring).
• Inspect, test, and diagnose electrical issues.
• Follow codes, blueprints, and standards in all work.
• Test systems to ensure proper functioning and safety.
• Prepare, bend conduit, and pull wires as needed.
• Document repairs and service information.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and parts.
• Calibrate equipment to specifications.
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot problems and perform timely repairs.
• Support IT networks maintenance.
• Operate equipment like forklifts and cranes.
• Read and work with Programmable Logic Controllers.
• Direct and train workers installing or repairing wiring and fixtures.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations.
