Job summary

Professional Transportation, Inc. (PTI) seeks van drivers in the Jerome/Nampa area to safely transport railroad crews. Starting pay varies by role: DYV $13.50/hr, MPV $14.25/hr, OTR $15.00/hr, with no prior driving experience required and training provided.

Responsibilities include safe operation, on-time performance, and excellent customer service; you’ll interact with Dispatch and keep crew members safe. 21+ and a valid license required; drug screening and background checks apply; home daily.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Have a minimum of 3 years driving experience (personal or work-related).
• Must be able to pass a post offer drug screening, MVR, and homeland security background check.

Responsibilities

• Promote and practice safety awareness.
• Prioritize on-time performance to meet customer needs.
• Pickup and drop off customers safely to their destinations.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Communicate timely with Dispatch Center.
• Open and close all doors/hatches for crew members.
• Report any defects, mechanical problems, or missing items found during vehicle inspection to your supervisor.
• Promote and follow all company policies and procedures.
• All other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
