Middlesex Corporation is seeking a Traveling Rail Laborer to support heavy/civil construction and rail projects at varied sites. This role requires extensive travel and flexibility to work where projects demand, performing site prep, material handling, excavation, and rail-related tasks.

You will contribute to safety, teamwork, and quality in active rail environments, operating hand and power tools and assisting with alignment and installation of materials.

Qualifikationen

• 2–5 years of Heavy/Civil Construction experience preferred.
• Rail or track experience strongly preferred.
• Willingness to travel extensively to project locations.
• Able to work varying schedules, including nights and weekends.
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Good understanding of construction safety practices.

Aufgaben

• Compliance with all safety policies and reporting of accidents and incidents.
• Travel to and work at various project locations as needed.
• Perform general labor for rail and heavy civil construction operations.
• Prepare sites, load/unload materials, and assist with equipment.
• Safely operate hand and power tools and maintain work areas.
• Assist with installation, positioning, alignment, and removal of materials.
• Dismantle forms using saws and hammers; ensure tools are organized.
• Collaborate with supervisors, operators, and crew; perform other duties as assigned.
