Job summary

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree with relevant experience in transit-oriented communications systems.
  • Familiarity with NYC Metro Area rail clients (Amtrak, NJ Transit, MTA, etc.).
  • Ability to independently progress designs and tasks within an engineering discipline.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, MicroStation, AutoCAD and/or Revit.

Responsibilities

  • Completes assigned work within the schedule and hours provided.
  • Prepares and/or modifies portions of project reports, plans, designs, and calculations.
  • Develops project quantities and assists with cost estimates.
  • Assists engineering teams with organization and admin of design files.
  • Self-sufficiently completes tasks including research, data collection, field investigations, and design.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
