What you will be challenged to do:
This position will be joining the 2023 AREMA Hay Award winning team recognizing the most outstanding railway engineering project for the TRRA Merchants Bridge Replacement in St. Louis, MO. At Gannett Fleming TranSystems, we have established and continue to nurture a culture that is committed to providing quality services for our clients. Gannett Fleming TranSystems is seeking a Rail Bridge Engineer II to join our Kansas City, MO team. Other office locations for this role include: Omaha, NE and Fort Worth, TX. This position includes structural design, rehabilitation, and inspection of bridges, tunnels, overhead structures, retaining walls, and other structures along with the preparation of load ratings, construction documents, specifications, and estimates. In addition, duties may include construction inspection services. Day-to-day assignments and technical guidance will be provided by current staff. Applicants must possess strong technical skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to travel for projects, the ability to work in the field conducting bridge inspections and must be able to work well in a team environment on multi-disciplinary projects.
