Job summary

UCSF Health is seeking a radiologic technologist to perform radiologic procedures under supervision across outpatient and inpatient settings, including OR/Hybrid, ER, and Endoscopy. The role requires ARRT certification and California licensure, with flexibility to cover weekends and holidays.

Candidates must graduate from a JCERT accredited program and be able to work in a fast-paced environment across UCSF Medical Center locations while prioritizing safety and accuracy in imaging procedures.

• Flexibility in scheduling, with the ability to rotate shifts and coverage for weekends and holidays.
• Willing to assist at any of the UCSF Medical Center Locations

• Ability to work effectively and efficiently under any workload and/or patient volume
• Knowledge of related Radiology systems (list few examples).
• Ability to correctly prioritize and complete tasks, needing little or no supervision.
• Ability to prioritize and effective use of time.

Tech will perform safe imaging procedures on all emergent, inpatient and outpatient age-specific populations. Diagnostic procedures include, but are not limited to, basic radiographic exams using fixed and portable imaging equipment in various settings such as Outpatient/Inpatient, OR/Hybrid, ER, fluoro and Endoscopy.

Preferred Qualification

• Prefer recent work experience in an acute care setting

Required Licenses/Certifications

• ARRT Licensure or ARRT-approved equivalent: For new graduates, ARRT license or ARRT-approved equivalent within six (6) months of hire. Cannot provide patient care until licensed.
• CRT Licensure
• BLS certification
• Fluoroscopy certification within six (6) months of hire
