Job summary

vTech Solution is seeking a Radiotherapy Therapist to deliver radiation therapy and ensure precise setup and alignment of patients using imaging techniques. You will assess patient status during treatment, support treatment planning, and work closely with the radiation oncology team to maintain safety and comfort.

The role requires a minimum of three years of Radiation Oncology experience, active ARRT certification, and an CA RTT license, with BLS and familiarity with Varian TrueBeam or MOSAIQ

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years Radiation Oncology experience.
• Active ARRT certification.
• Active California Registered Radiologic Technologist (CA RTT) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience with Varian TrueBeam and MOSAIQ preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and align patients accurately using imaging techniques for radiation therapy treatments as prescribed.
• Assess patient status during direct interaction and make appropriate referrals to healthcare team members.
• Prepare for treatment delivery including chart and film checks, room setup, calculations, and electronic medical record reviews.
• Perform patient setup and CT scans for radiation therapy treatment planning as needed.
• Collaborate closely with other radiation therapists and team members to perform additional tasks as required.

This role involves assessing patient status during treatment, preparing treatment delivery including chart and film checks, and collaborating closely with the radiation oncology team. The therapist ensures accurate treatment planning and execution while maintaining patient safety and comfort. A minimum of three years of Radiation Oncology experience and relevant certifications are required.

Responsibilities

Scheduling

• Full-time day shift, Monday through Friday.
• Shift hours approximately 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM (5 x 8-hour shifts).
