Job summary

NorthStar Medical Radioisotopes in Beloit, Wisconsin, seeks an experienced QC/quality control support role to assist laboratory, radiologic science lab, and manufacturing operations. You will participate in sampling, material inspection, and general laboratory testing in compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include on-the-floor QC presence, instrument operation, and environmental monitoring.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 4+ years in a regulated industry.
• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, or related science.
• ORequivalent combination of education and experience.
• Familiarity with basic to advanced metrological equipment.
• Knowledge of ALARA principles, radiation detection equipment, and handling of radioactive materials.
• Benchtop chemistry, titration, chemical ID testing.

Responsibilities

• Monitor equipment and instrumentation used daily to ensure proper operation and calibration.
• Operate analytical instrumentation.
• Provide on-the-floor QC presence for manufacturing operations.
• Perform incoming inspection of raw materials and components.
• Perform environmental monitoring tasks and plate reads.
• Isolate microorganisms.
• Review and approve Receiving Inspection documents and release in the ERP system.
• Perform environmental monitoring in accordance with applicable standards.
• Train others on methods, procedures and techniques as required.
• Participate in Project Teams and other meetings.
