Job description

Great Opportunity!Perspective Therapeutics is seeking a qualified Radiopharmaceutical Production Technician to join our team in Somerset, NJ working the night shift. This position produces radiopharmaceutical products in a just-in-time environment to support clinical and commercial demand. They are responsible for executing all tasks associated with preparation, manufacturing, assembling, and packaging of radiopharmaceutical products, adhering to cGMP Guidelines to meet production demands. Essential Functions:
  • The Radiopharmaceutical Production Technician performs material kitting, line cleaning and line clearances; sets-up isolators and line equipment and performs all tasks associated with production including formulation, dispensing and packaging.
  • The Radiopharmaceutical Production Technician performs all tasks associated with manufacturing in an aseptic environment, donning proper personal protection equipment and adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Supports all technical aspects related to pharmaceutical production readiness including manually cleaning the classified manufacturing area and performing environmental and personal monitoring.
  • Performs complex batch record calculations and maintains all documentation according to cGMP guidelines and participates in assigned qualification and validation activities, as necessary. The associate adheres to the ALCOA+ principles in every aspect of GMP documentation.
  • The Radiopharmaceutical Production Technician ensures they’re actively training on revised SOPs and completes OJT training and qualification within 6 months of hire date.
  • Due to manufacturing time constraints and patient demand, overtime will be required to ensure process continuation or completion.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in applied science or minimum of two or more years of relevant work experience in a pharmaceutical or cGMP manufacturing industry.
  • Experience with MS Office Suite.
  • Aseptic processing and technique experience is highly preferred.
  • Ability to learn and understand radiopharmaceutical production.Actively participates in and contributes to advanced safety programs aimed at ensuring the utmost protection for all personnel.
  • Capable of handling physically demanding tasks, including lifting loads up to 50 lbs. and performing frequent crawling, stooping, crouching, and kneeling. Maintains a high level of fitness and agility to excel in challenging work environments.
  • Ability to don a variety of advanced personal protective equipment, ensuring strict adherence to safety guidelines and regulations.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including overnight and weekends, exhibiting a commitment to meeting production demands and deadlines.
  • Demonstrates ownership and accountability for the production process, assigned production area, and associated documentation.
