Job summary

NorthStar Medical Radioisotopes in Beloit, Wisconsin, is seeking an Associate Accelerator Operator to run and maintain electron accelerators in a 24-hour facility. You will assist with commissioning, installation, testing, and routine maintenance of systems, while ensuring regulatory compliance and quality records.

You will join a shift team responsible for upset response, troubleshooting, and supporting pre-production to post-production activities in a regulated radiopharmaceutical environment.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent experience required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude is required.
• Relevant military experience will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Safely, compliantly, and efficiently operate accelerators and related systems.
• Support commissioning, installation, testing, and maintenance activities.
• Shadow and assist routine maintenance, functional tests, and inspections.
• Execute Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, Forms, and Logs.
• Assist in pre-production set-up, target assembly, manufacturing and post-production activities.
• Maintain records for irradiation and production, including batch records and logs.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the facility and equipment.
• Provide front-line troubleshooting and escalate issues as needed.
• Perform tasks proactively to meet or exceed business needs.
