Job summary

NorthStar Medical Radioisotopes in Beloit, Wisconsin, is seeking an Accelerator Operator to perform operations and maintenance on their particle accelerator equipment. This role is vital in producing radiopharmaceuticals used in cancer treatment.

The ideal candidate should have a technical degree with experience in a cGMP environment and mechanical aptitude. The position includes benefits such as medical insurance, 401(k), and opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience within a highly regulated / cGMP manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude is required.
• Relevant military experience will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Operate accelerators and associated systems safely and efficiently.
• Assist with routine maintenance and inspections of accelerators.
• Participate in the development of Standard Operating Procedures.

Skills

Mechanical aptitude

Understanding of ALARA principles

Experience in a cGMP manufacturing environment
