Job summary

Cardinal Health in Fort Myers, FL seeks a Delivery Driver to ensure prompt, accurate delivery of radiopharmaceuticals to medical care providers. You will prepare doses, scan orders with a handheld tablet, and load/unload shipments while maintaining safety standards and DOT regulations.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Weekend, holiday, and on-call work are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent or equivalent work experience.
• Must hold a valid driver's license and have a good driving record.
• Minimum of 18 years of age due to driving of company owned vehicle.
• Ability to lift containers weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions day or night.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and on-call rotations.
• Ability to use computers and tablets.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and delivers to customer accounts on assigned route using company vehicle.
• Packages radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment and loads/unloads containers.
• Uses a handheld tablet to scan orders, obtain route info and navigation.
• Maintains vehicles and performs minor roadside repairs.
• Performs general facility cleaning and duties.
• Verifies labeling on outgoing shipments.
• Maintains log books and vehicle inspection records.
• Participates in required trainings including safety and HIPAA.
• Provides timely and accurate deliveries following safe routes.
