Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an experienced Radiology - X-ray Tech for a 13-week assignment. The role requires a minimum of 2 years as a radiology technician, current radiology technician certification, and BLS certification.

The position runs 8 hours per shift, Monday through Friday, with a flexible start between 0615 and 0700.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program.
• Basic computer operational skills.
• Strength to assist with lifting, moving, and positioning patients.
• Ability to work well with others and maintain a positive attitude.
• Ability to hear verbal communications, read and interpret orders, and document data accurately.

Responsibilities

• Performs and processes radiographic and fluoroscopic radiology tests.
• Responsible for conducting radiological tests with appropriate skill and in a timely manner.
• Has a working knowledge of all radiology equipment.
• Obtains images using appropriate equipment and knows how to transfer images to PACS.
• Documents tests and procedures via computer.
• Assists with clinical functions and performs various tasks to support staff.
• Monitors radiology supplies and equipment certification.
• Responsible for reporting malfunctions and overseeing routine equipment maintenance.
• Checks the daily schedule and coordinates coverage as needed.
• Possesses knowledge of aseptic techniques during tests.
• Maintains confidentiality of all records and information received during work activities.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
