Description:This position provides a variety of technical procedures requiring the use of ionizing radiation.The role requires independent judgment and technical skills to produce the best possible radiography for diagnosis and treatment.Responsibilities include performing CT and X-Ray examinations.The technologist produces radiographs using correct technical factors and evaluates each film for proper exposure and positioning.Scheduling exams and instructing patients on preparations for exams are also essential tasks.Setting up and organizing rooms for radiographic procedures is required.The technologist reports directly to the Imaging Services Manager.
