Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Radiology - X-ray Tech for a 13-week assignment on the Evening shift. The role requires minimum 1 year of radiology experience, a valid license, ARRT and Texas Medical Board certifications, and the ability to perform general and portable radiography.

The unit handles a high volume of patients across 900 beds, with GE and Siemens equipment, Meditech EMR, AGFA PACS, and a busy ED environment. No on-call is required; some weekends may be available.

Responsibilities

Description:The unit has over 900 beds and a total of 42 staff members.Staff includes 1 supervisor and 17 technologists on day shift, 1 supervisor and 8 staff on evening shift, and 1 supervisor with 4-5 staff on night shift.Patient ratios are variable and the work environment is extremely busy.Equipment used includes GE and Siemens devices, and OEC EMR - Meditech, AGFA PACS, GE Centricity RIS.Routine procedures performed include all types of radiography, operating room radiography, and primarily emergency department work and portable imaging.The ideal candidate is able to work well with others and occasionally work independently.Candidates must be self-motivated.There is no call required for this position.Weekends may be available for those who wish to pick up extra shifts.Dress code consists of olive tops and black pants.No additional comments or specific unit guidelines provided.
