Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking a licensed Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic X-rays across plain films, fluoroscopy, portable, and OR exams in a community health setting.

You will explain procedures to patients, position them correctly, and uphold strict safety standards to minimize radiation exposure while preparing contrast media and submitting high-quality images. Limited CT may be done in emergent situations.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Radiology Technology program.
• ARRT-R certification within 6 months of hire.
• BLS certification and state licensure or temporary accreditation.
• Physical stamina for standing, walking, lifting, and patient handling.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-rays including plain films, fluoroscopy, portable and OR exams.

Job description

Role Overview:

This position involves performing diagnostic X-rays, including plain films, fluoroscopy, portable, and OR exams, supporting the imaging department. It requires explaining procedures to patients, positioning them correctly, and ensuring safety protocols are followed to minimize radiation exposure. The role includes preparing contrast media, monitoring patient activity, submitting high-quality images, maintaining equipment, and maintaining a clean department. Limited CT procedures may be performed in emergent situations.

Qualifications & Skills:

Completion of a Radiology Technology program and ARRT-R certification within 6 months of hire. No prior experience required. Must have BLS certification and relevant state licensure or temporary accreditation. Physical stamina for constant standing, walking, lifting, and patient handling. Strong attention to safety, detail, and communication skills.

Additional Requirements:

Valid certifications in radiography and bone density, depending on the state. Physical ability to perform frequent lifting, moving patients, and equipment operation.
