Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Radiology - X-ray Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in California. The role requires 3+ years of radiology experience, a current ARRT license, CPR, plus state fluoroscopy permit.

You will perform radiographic procedures, operate x-ray equipment, and document results in PACS under supervision as needed. Responsibilities include patient positioning, basic patient care, and potential cross-area float support.

Responsibilities

  • Position chest, hand, wrist, forearm, elbow, knee, foot, or ankle for x-ray.
  • Perform imaging procedures without direct supervision.
  • Operate x-ray equipment, process images, document in PACS.
  • Provide basic patient care under nurse supervision, including vitals and room prep.
  • Assist clinician as needed during evaluation.
  • Ensure area is clean and stocked with supplies and equipment.
  • May float to other areas when required.

Description:The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist's primary responsibilities include positioning the chest, hand, wrist, forearm, elbow, knee, foot, or ankle in preparation for x-ray.This role performs imaging procedures without requiring direct supervision.The technologist operates x-ray equipment, processes images, and documents into PACS.Basic patient care is provided under the supervision of the clinic nurse.Patient care duties may include obtaining vital signs, placing patients in exam rooms, obtaining specimens, and preparing patients for clinician evaluation.The technologist assists the clinician as needed.The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist ensures that the area is clean and well-stocked with supplies and equipment.This position may also require floating to other areas as needed.
