Staff may float to a nearby facility. You will perform general imaging studies (brain, MRCP, abdomen, pelvis, extremities), operate GE and Toshiba equipment, and use Radnet and Merge Unity software.

Description:The department has 2 imaging rooms.Staff may be floated to a nearby facility as needed.Common imaging studies performed include brain, MRCP, abdomen, pelvis, and extremities.The average number of scans/studies performed per day is approximately 100.Radiology leadership is present in-house.IV starts are not required for this position.Weekend coverage is required on an alternating basis.Holiday coverage is expected, including one major and one minor holiday.Rotating call is part of the job, with a response time of 30 minutes.Scrubs are teal in color.Department orientation is provided by the lead for at least one week.The cancellation policy allows the hospital to cancel shifts under specific guidelines.Charting is performed using the Cerner system.This position is in an acute care setting.
