Radiologic Technologist

Schedule

Nights, 10-hour shifts on Sunday from 7:30 PM to 6:00 AM and Monday to Wednesday from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM. Guaranteed 40 hours per week.

Job Description

The Radiologic Technologist performs a variety of imaging procedures consistent with established policies and procedures at a technical level requiring general supervision. This role focuses on ensuring patient comfort and executing imaging exams accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear explanations and instructions to patients to ensure their comfort and needs are met.
• Operate and maintain all assigned imaging department equipment, primarily x-ray machines.
• Position patients and utilize radiologic equipment to accurately capture requested images.
• Execute all imaging exams as ordered in accordance with established policies, procedures, regulations, and laws; notify the physician on duty of results.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in X-ray.
• Experience with X-ray operation and techniques.
• Current ARRT certification and BLS (AHA) certification required.
• Michigan licensure is required; verification must be provided.
