ARMStaffing is seeking a dedicated Stress Lab Technologist for a 13-week contract in Clyde, NC. The role involves monitoring and performing various stress tests, ensuring patient safety and accurate data collection during procedures.

The ideal candidate holds ARRT registration, completed radiologic technology training, and is experienced in radiology settings. The position offers a structured schedule from 08:00 to 16:30 with comprehensive staffing support.

Qualifications

• ARRT registration or eligibility required.
• Experience in other x-ray departments is desirable.
• Hospital training during radiologic technologist program required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and record patient conditions during stress testing.
• Prepare preliminary paperwork for final interpretation by cardiologist.
• Perform exercise, pharmacologic and echo stress tests.
• Recognize chest pain and arrhythmias during testing.
• Respond to emergencies and assist as needed.
• Manage stress lab supplies and ensure readiness.
• Disassemble, clean and sterilize equipment as required.
• Troubleshoot issues and adjust procedures as needed.
• Assist with computerized charting and process improvements.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Stress Lab Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential services in monitoring and performing various stress tests, ensuring optimal patient care and safety throughout the process.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions effectively.
• Prepare preliminary paperwork for final interpretation by the cardiologist.
• Perform exercise, pharmaceutical, and echo stress tests.
• Recognize chest pain and arrhythmias during stress testing.
• Respond to emergencies and obtain appropriate assistance as needed.
• Manage stress lab supplies, ensuring availability and readiness.
• Disassemble, clean, and sterilize equipment as required.
• Troubleshoot minor issues and make necessary adjustments during procedures.
• Assist with computerized charting and departmental process improvements.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an approved course in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT registration or eligibility required.
• Active member of the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists is preferred.
• Hospital training during a Radiologic Technologist program is necessary.
• Experience in other x-ray departments, clinics, or medical offices is highly desirable.
