Radiology - Women's Imager Physician Job with UVA Health in Manassas, VA

Position Overview

UVA Community Health is seeking a Full-time or Part-time ABR board-eligible/certified fellowship-trained radiologist in Breast Imaging to join our expanding imaging services program, which includes Prince William Medical Center and Haymarket Medical Center. The role involves providing consistent biopsy, diagnostic, and screening mammography services to meet community needs. Our team comprises three MDs, supported by a Mammography Tech and Radiology Analytics staff.

Responsibilities
  • Perform breast procedures including US, MRI, mammographic-guided biopsies, and wire/SAVI localizations
  • Read screens and conduct diagnostic exams
  • Work independently when Sonographer is unavailable
  • Participate in monthly tumor boards
  • Collaborate with Surgeons, Oncologists, and Pathologists
  • Utilize ancillary services like Hologic 3D mammography, Affirm Bx system, DEXA, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, Interventional Radiology, and Nuclear Medicine
  • Handle an average daily census of 33 patients
