Radiology - Women's Imager Physician Job with UPMC in Altoona, PA

Position Overview: UPMC Altoona, located in west central PA, seeks a Radiologist interested in breast imaging. Candidates can be general radiologists with a focus on 50% breast imaging or fellowship-trained breast imagers. Both full-time and part-time positions are available. Must have an MD or equivalent, BC or BE in Radiology, ability to obtain an unrestricted PA license, and MQSA certification.

Responsibilities:

• Perform mammography at hospital and outpatient centers using 5 Hologic Dimensions 3D tomosynthesis units.
• Conduct procedures including Breast MRI, Ultrasound, Stereotactic breast biopsies, and sentinel lymph node biopsies.
• Manage an average of 20,000 mammograms annually.
• Collaborate closely with breast surgeons, pathologists, oncologists, and navigators to provide comprehensive breast care.

Qualifications:

• MD or equivalent, BC or BE in Radiology.
• Ability to obtain PA license and MQSA certification.
