Cynet Health is seeking a Radiology - Vascular Tech for a 13-week assignment in a hospital setting. The role performs requested ultrasound examinations and reviews findings with the radiologist, using EPIC EMR. Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience and ARDMS/RDCS/RVT certifications are preferred; active state RN or compact license accepted.

Shifts are night and day rotating with 10-hour hours. Weekend/holiday coverage is required on a rotating basis; strong GE experience is a must-have for

Responsabilidades

• Independently perform requested ultrasound examinations.
• Search for pathology as indicated by symptoms/history.
• Review and discuss ultrasound findings with the radiologist.
• Make a diagnosis based on ultrasound findings.
• Interact with patients and support rotating weekend/holiday coverage.

Description:This position independently performs requested ultrasound examinations.The sonographer searches for any possible pathology as indicated by the patient's symptoms or medical history.He or she reviews and discusses the ultrasound findings with the radiologist.A diagnosis is then made based on the findings.The role involves weekends and holiday coverage on a rotating basis.The hospital setting includes a daily census of approximately 10 patients.This position requires interaction with a variety of patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.Experience with EPIC EMR is preferred.Candidates should have training from an accredited ultrasound program.The role involves performing various ultrasound procedures including abdominal and vascular studies.BLS certification is required.
