Job summary

The University of Vermont Health Network is seeking new graduate Radiology Technologists and related role entrants for Summer 2026 across its partner hospitals in Vermont and New York. Opportunities include X-ray Techs, Sonography, and Nuclear Medicine Techs, with direct entry into some modalities depending on location.

New graduates will join a supportive team with access to training and career growth within the network.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology as approved by CAHEA/JRCERT.
• ARRT certification and state licensure in VT or NY prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of x-ray equipment to perform routine radiographs and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Assist in the clinical instruction of radiography students and other personnel as needed.
• Work a variety of shifts, at multiple campuses, weekends, holidays, and on-call on a rotational basis.

Porter Medical Center - Middlebury, VT

Shifts will vary based on department needs.

Starting pay will vary based on the organization within the network for which you are hired - the recruiter can share this information with you.

While most Network partners hire new graduates into Xray roles and then train for advanced modalities, some locations offer direct entry into advanced modalities. In addition, we welcome your application if you are seeking a sonography or nuclear medicine position! All partners require either existing certification or eligibility to become certified by the professional organizations for these modalities (most commonly ARDMS or NMTCB). RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST JOB DESCRIPTION:

Radiology Technologists willdemonstrateprogressive knowledge and sense of responsibility in the daily operations of the radiology department.

Theyoperatea variety of x-ray equipment to perform routine radiographs and fluoroscopic procedures according to established practices under the direction of a radiologist, supervisor, and lead technologists.

Our Xray Techsassistin the clinical instruction of radiography students and other personnel as needed.

Radiologic Technologists maybe requiredto work a variety of shifts, at multiple campuses, weekends, holidays, and takecallon a rotational basis.

RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology approved by CAHEA/JRCERT.

Licensed with the State of Vermont or State of New York topractice inRadiology prior to start date.

ARRT Certification will berequiredas well.
