Radiologic Technologist (RT)

Hudson Valley & Western Connecticut

• Hourly Pay : $38.00 - $45.00 (based on experience)
• Monthly Bonus : Up to $600 / month
• Sign-On Bonus : $5,000 (for full-time positions)
• PTO : 25 days in your first year
• Shift Differentials : Higher pay for mobile, PRN, float, and evening shifts (8 PM - midnight)

Position Summary

As a Radiologic Technologist , you'll play a hybrid role combining clinical, technical, and administrative tasks to ensure exceptional care and operational flow. You'll :

• Perform and analyze diagnostic x-rays
• Assist with front-desk and patient intake duties
• Support providers with patient prep and testing
• Key Responsibilities

X-Ray Services

• Perform x-rays under provider supervision (newborn to elderly)
• Ensure correct positioning and patient protection
• Assist patients in wheelchairs when needed
• Conduct vitals, medical history, and pre-visit screenings
• Perform POC testing (strep, flu, urinalysis, ECG, HCG)
• Communicate with patients throughout their visit

Front Desk & Admin

• Register patients, verify insurance, and process co-pays
• Schedule appointments and handle referrals
• Maintain accurate records and answer phones
• Help maintain quality control logs and troubleshoot equipment
• Stock medical supplies in exam rooms and front desk
• Track expiration dates and manage restocking

Qualifications

Education :

• High School Diploma (required)
• Graduate of accredited Radiologic Tech program (required)

Certifications (Required at Time of Hire) :

• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
• BLS Certification (AHA or ARC)

Experience :

• Previous clinical experience preferred
