Jackson Hospital is seeking a radiology technologist to perform radiographic examinations and assist radiologists during fluoroscopic studies. You will also perform exams in the operating room and the emergency room to support urgent patient care.
Required education includes graduation from a School of Radiological Technology and an approved two-year radiology program, with ARRT licensure and BLS. The role uses radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment and related image processing systems.
This is a technical position requiring education in the field of radiology technology. Education: Graduate of School of Radiological Technology
Experience: Graduate from an approved two-year radiology program
Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations: American Registry of Radiology
Technology and BLS required.
Equipment/Tools/Work Aids: Radiographic/Fluoroscopic equipment, computers, image processing equipment.
Specialized Skills: Proficiency in radiological technology.
Physical Requirements: Job requires frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting and pushing in excess of twenty-five pounds.
