Job summary

BJC HealthCare is seeking a Full-Time X-Ray Technologist for Barnes Jewish Hospital, Main Floor Plaza West Tower—General Radiology in St. Louis, MO. New grads and experienced radiologic technologists are welcome. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available and no weekends or calls are required.

Day shift is 3 days per week (Wed–Fri, 7am–7:30pm) with imaging support across OR, ED, and inpatients. On-job training is provided; one year of experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in related field required.
• Certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT(R)) is required.
• No experience required; cross training available and on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
• Performs imaging studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other sites as required.

Role Purpose

Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control.
