Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis is hiring a Full-Time X-Ray Technologist for General Radiology on the Main Floor Plaza West Tower. New grads and experienced radiologic technologists are welcome to apply, with cross training available.

This role offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus and an on-the-job training program, with day shifts (three 12-hour days) and no weekends or call. Qualifications include an Associate degree or higher in radiologic technology and RT(R) certification.

• Registered Technologist in Radiography (RT(R)) is required.

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control.

Responsibilities

Prepares patient and equipment for procedures. Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other site as required by work area.
