ORA Orthopedics is seeking a Radiology Technologist in Bettendorf, IA. This full-time role involves performing X-ray exams, producing high-quality images, and ensuring patient safety.

You will explain procedures, prepare patients, and maintain exam rooms while coordinating with the MRI department on Arthrograms and injections. The ideal candidate has an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT certification, and Licenses for IA/IL, with strong communication skills and the ability to travel

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
• ARRT certification required.
• Iowa and Illinois licenses required.
• One year X-ray experience preferred.
• Familiarity with EMR systems and medical terminology.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills; ability to work collaboratively.

Responsabilités

• Perform X-ray exams and produce high-quality images safely and efficiently.
• Explain procedures to patients and prepare them for X-ray procedures.
• Maintain, stock, and inspect exam rooms; ensure equipment is in working order; report malfunctions to Radiology Supervisor.
• Understand Arthrograms and injections while collaborating with the MRI department.
• Uphold HIPAA privacy and confidentiality, and travel to ORA clinic locations as required.
