Job Overview

This role performs prescribed radiographic imaging procedures independently, requiring sound judgment and initiative. The responsibilities include positioning patients, analyzing images, and ensuring quality results.

Responsibilities

1. Perform imaging procedures: Position patients, analyze images, troubleshoot issues, and report results. (40%)
2. Patient interaction: Review history, educate patients, and ensure cooperation. (20%)
3. Contrast media administration: Prepare and administer contrast/media as ordered, monitor patient condition. (20%)
4. Equipment preparation and safety: Prepare equipment, select exposure settings, perform safety checks, and troubleshoot malfunctions. (20%)
5. Additional duties: Perform other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent, or related experience.
• ARRT Radiography certification within 12 months of hire.
• CPR certification (American Heart Association).
• Criminal background and child abuse clearances.

Preferred

• Prior radiology experience.
