Job summary

AdventHealth in Celebration, FL seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform high-quality radiographic imaging and ensure patient safety. You will position patients, operate equipment, and document procedures in the EMR and PACS systems.

Requirements include ARRT Radiography, BLS CPR, Florida CRT, and 1+ year radiology experience or graduate in radiologic technology. This full-time role offers varied day shifts with a Friday–Sunday 7am–7pm schedule and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have active radiologic technology credentials.
• Includes ARRT radiography certification and BLS CPR.
• Florida CRT license required.
• Minimum 1 year radiology experience or recent graduate in radiologic technology.

Job Description

Shift Information: Friday-Sunday 7am-7pm

Sign On Bonus: $3,750 for eligible applicants

Relocation Bonus: $1,500 for eligible applicants

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, providers, team members, and others of diverse backgrounds.
• Moves, positions, and manipulates radiographic equipment to complete requested procedures safely.
• Performs direct patient care duties within the technologist’s scope of practice, including monitoring patient condition, transporting patient, and using proper infection control techniques.
• Ensures exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use, and that all equipment undergoes routine cleaning and safety checks.
• Notifies appropriate personnel when inventory is low.
• Cross-trains into advanced modalities as needed.
• Ability to follow basic radiation safety concepts of time, distance and shielding to keep exposure levels ALARA for patient and staff.
• Performs radiographic imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality images that meet department standards.
• Positions patients and equipment, selecting technical factors to produce radiographic images safely and in a timely manner.
• Performs imaging with correct patient demographic and examination information.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS systems.
• Assists patients during procedures, ensuring their comfort, safety, and privacy, in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's [Preferred]

Work Experience

• 1+ year experience preferably in radiology or a new graduate of accredited radiologic technology program [Required]

Licenses And Certifications

• Registered Technologist – Radiography RT(R)(ARRT)) [Required]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
• Florida CRT [Required]

Pay Range

$23.94 - $44.53
