Job summary

Sioux Center Health is seeking a radiographic technician to join their team in Cresco, IA. This position requires the ability to perform radiographic procedures and assist physicians and Radiologists with various modalities.

The role includes weekend package duties on call from Friday evening to Monday morning. Candidates must have an AMA accredited radiography program graduation, Iowa practice permit, and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic procedures and assist physicians and Radiologists.
• Participate in (call) support for weekends.
• Independently perform general radiographic and additional modalities.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Graduate of an AMA Accredited Radiography Program with ARRT or ARCRT

Permit to practice from the State of Iowa

BLS (CPR) certified or obtained within 3 months of employment

Position Highlights

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the knowledge and capabilities to perform radiographic procedures and to assist physicians and Radiologist with image modalities listed in the Radiology Procedures Manual. Responsible in the participation of (call) support and must be able to perform general radiographic and additional modalities such as CT and Dexa, scan procedures independently while exercising professional judgment in the performance of procedures.

• This position is weekend package only: on call from 5:30pm Friday to 6am Monday

Position Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of an AMA Accredited Radiography Program with ARRT or ARCRT.
• Permit to practice from the State of Iowa.
• BLS (CPR) certified or obtained within 3 months of employment.
