Job summary

Providence is seeking a Radiology Technologist to support radiology procedures under supervision, assisting Radiologists in diagnostic imaging and ensuring patient comfort and safety.

The role requires graduation from a certified Radiologic Technology Program, California licensure, ARRT certification, and BLS within 30 days of hire; fluoro licensure is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist Radiologist in performing diagnostic radiology procedures.

• Routinely handle multiple x-ray modalities and Mammography regulatory responsibilities.

Job description

The Radiology Technologist works under general supervision to assist the Radiologist in performing diagnostic procedures for patients and works effectively with patients and other clinic personnel. The Radiology Technologist will be responsible for compliance of State and Federal regulations. The x-ray technologist III shall routinely assume responsible for three x-ray modalities and/or two x-ray modalities and Mammography regulatory responsibilities.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduation from a certified Radiologic Technology Program.
• Upon hire: California Radiologic Technologist.
• Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Upon hire: Fluoro licensure.
